There are many opportunities

There are many ways you can get involved as a volunteer. Below you will find explanations of how you can serve the kids in different areas. Please join us in making moments matter!

Camp Counselors

Counselor is a full time staff position. Counselors arrive the day before camp begins to help prepare the camp for the campers arrival the next day. Each counselor will be responsible for 2 campers the whole week. There will be support staff to assist with the campers when needed. The number of campers depends on the number of counselors we have each year. Each counselor will have to do the mandatory training, even returning counselors. You have to be over 18 yrs of age to be a counselor.

Support Staff

Support staff positions can be full time or part time. Positions can be anything from decorating to drama team to helping supervise an activity center! Support Staff can be at camp full time, part time, or behind the scenes before/after/during the week. There is necessary training, especially if you are new and will be at camp, but how many hours will depend on your availability and position.

Teen Leaders

This position is for 16 and 17 yearr olds. This is a full time, at camp position. Teen leaders are at camp to help it run smoothly and to create positive memories for the campers. You will be working together and have a leader to help you out. This is a great way to try out being on staff and see if you would like to continue on as a counselor if possible. There is mandatory training involved with this position.

Night Relief

During camp, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, we like to be able to give our counselors a break. From 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm on those nights we bring in other adults to come in and be with the campers while the counselors get their much needed break. This is a great position for someone who is unable to be at camp full time. The campers are getting ready for bed and winding down from their day. This is sometimes the best time to connect with the kids and have some meaningful conversations. There is mandatory training for this position.

Breakfast Club Staff

Each morning on Tues, Wed, and Thurs of camp we have what is called Breakfast Club for the campers. This is during the time counselors are in a meeting so we need all the help we can get for the campers! You would need to be available 8:30 am to 10: 30 am on those days. We need people to help run games, songs, craft stations, object lessons or just help with a group of children! Some mandatory training is required.
